Abstract

With the advent of federal legislation changing the landscape for billing for tele-ICU encounters, the teleintensivist should be knowledgeable about the correct steps in coding and billing for tele-ICU care. This chapter will highlight the key elements for successful billing in compliance with third-party regulations.
