Abstract
There is little question as to the efficacy of sildenafil citrate (Viagra™) for the treatment of erectile dysfunction. Two years of post-marketing experience provide data which indicates that the efficacy and safety of sildenafil citrate is consistent with the data obtained in clinical trials. This paper provides an update of the clinical efficacy and safety of sildenafil collected since its market approval in March of 1998.
