Abstract

The world transport system is undergoing a process of fundamental changes that are associated with the development of world markets for goods and services. The tendency for the further development of a single trading market on different continents significantly simplifies the procedures for crossing the borders, which is reflected in the reduction of tariffs for the handling of goods in international traffic.

Ukraine’s inclusion in the Trans-European Core Transport Network makes it possible for Ukraine to qualify for financial assistance from the European Union for the development of its infrastructure.

The article describes the general structure of TEN-T, in particular, two multimodal corridors that have access to the border of Ukraine. The paper also analyzes the problems and prospects of Ukraine’s integration into the European transport system. The priorities of the state policy in terms of deepening Ukraine’s cooperation with the European Union in the field of transport have been identified. Suggestions for the development of international cooperation in the field of transport services are given.
