Zusammenfassung
Das OpenStreetMap Projekt hat sich nicht nur in der GIS Welt als eines der Vorzeigeprojekte für „Volunteered Geographie Information“ (VGI) einen Namen gemacht. Es ist Bereitsteller und Datensammler einer weltumspannenden Datenbank für Landkarten und anderer geoinformationstechnischen Lösungen. In diesem Artikel wird auf die mit dem Projekt verbundenen Lizenzen eingegangen und es werden Beispiele einer möglichen Interpretation derselben zur Umsetzung einer Web-Applikation mit OpenStreetMap Hintergrund erläutert. Die hier genannten Darstellungen sind, so nicht anders angeführt, Interpretationen des Autors und bedürfen bei tatsächlicher Anwendung der Kontrolle durch einen Juristen.
Abstract
The OpenStreetMap project is well known as an exemplary implementation of „Volunteered Geographic Information“ (VGI), not only within the domain of GIS. It gathers and provides worldwide data for maps and other geoinformatical solutions. This paper provides insights into licensing issues when dealing with data from OpenStreetMap. Furthermore an example of a web application integrating OpenStreetMap is given. If not specified otherwise, the views described here are interpretations of the author and should be verified by a lawyer if applied.
