The monograph explores features of modern information and communication technologies and their role in the development of the digital economy; identifies impact factors of digitalization processes on results of economic activities; analyses methodological approaches to monitoring and evaluating digital economy; constructs functions of the dependence between costs and real results; quantitatively evaluates the transformational potential of Ukrainian economy’s digitization and substantiates recommendations for its enhancement. The monograph aimed at researchers, lecturers, post-graduate students, students and all those, interested in problems of the digital economy, industrial revolutions and innovative development.
The monograph was prepared on the basis of a scientific project “Transformational potential of the Ukrainian economy’s digitization” of the targeted comprehensive program of scientific researches of NAS of Ukraine “Reconstruction of the Ukrainian economy: historical challenges and modern projects”, as well as schedules research work of IIE of NAS of Ukraine “Directions of “smart” industry’s establishment in Ukraine”.
