Abstract: Diabetes Mellitus is a syndrome more than a disease and its incidence still arising according WHO, it characterized by delay and impaired wound healing, this impairment may due to nitric oxide short activity. Tadalafil is a powerful and specific inactivator of phosphodiesterase enzyme type-5 (PDE-5) so it performances on stopovers the interruption of nitric oxide driven cyclic guanosine monophosphate in vascular smooth muscle cells and platelets, nitric oxide is an important growth in wound healing pathophysiology. A whole of 40 rats assessing 150–200 g approximately two months of age were aimlessly and carefully chosen then separated into two groups involving of 20 rats in each group. Group one: Diabetic rats with full thickness wounds Induced and Group tow: Diabetic rats with full thickness wound treated orally with tadalafil (5 mg /kg.b.w.)., On days 3, 7, 14, and 21, 5 rats in each group were euthanized under the same anesthetic solution. Their skin wound samples were removed and fixed at 10% buffered neutral formalin. The results displayed that Tadalafil fast-track the wound healing progression in diabetic rats and definitely augmented vascularizing and epithelialization in the treatment group compared to diabetic non treated groups. Therefore, this training proves that Tadalafil may be actual in stimulating the enclosure of wounds in diabetic state.
