Cyber security should be everybody’s concern. More and more cyber security incidences are being reported as more users access the internet. However, being aware and employing good practices do not mean being a hundred percent protected. In the academe, both students and teachers have to be educated in terms of security awareness and good practices. As teachers, the responsibility of educating the youth regarding cyber security falls mostly on educators. This study investigates the perception of cyber security among teachers. A survey questionnaire was distributed both hard-copy and online. 84 teachers were able to respond to the study. Results of this study would help proper authorities not limited to administrators of basic and higher education institutions on developing programs about cyber security among educators.
