Impact with the journal's own citations removed
Each chart below is the journal's impact over a different window, recomputed after dropping every citation that came from the journal itself. Both figures use the same denominator, so the gap between a window here and its headline equivalent is exactly the share of that impact the journal supplied to itself. A wide gap is not misconduct — a specialist journal is often the natural place to cite earlier work in its own field — but it is the first thing to look at when an impact figure seems out of step with a journal's standing.
